Alex has worked previously in law firms in Raleigh and Rocky Mount, and his clients have ranged from closely held businesses and tax-exempt nonprofits to fiduciaries and individuals seeking estate planning and dispute resolution.

Born and raised in Edgecombe County, Alex has represented clients from across the state for over a decade. He has been named as a Best Lawyer for his work in Trust and Estates and enjoys helping his clients find solutions to the issues they face and help prevent other issues from occurring.
Alex graduated from The Lawrenceville School, the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, and Tulane University Law School. He has served various charitable organizations, including the Luke Garrison Foundation, the United Way Tar River Region, the Edgecombe Charitable Foundation, the Edgecombe Community College Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle, and Lawyers Read.
